Most of that isn’t actually secret by law — it’s just never been formally requested. Every state has a public records law that gives you, personally, the right to ask.

This tool writes that request for you. Pick a case, add your name and email, and it generates a letter citing the correct state law, addressed to the right kind of records custodian, asking for exactly the records that case’s file identifies as never having surfaced.
